Atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is the most common form of eczema. This condition is characterized by red and itchy skin and is typically long lasting or chronic, with periodic flare ups. While it is most common in children, it can occur at any age.

Basal cell carcinoma

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common form of skin cancer and most common cancer overall in the United States, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation. This skin disease is characterized by an uncontrolled growth or lesion that arises in the skin’s basal cells, which line the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin).

Contact dermatitis

Contact dermatitis is an itchy, red rash caused by direct contact with certain substances or an allergic reaction. Substances such as cosmetics, soaps, fragrances and plants can cause these reactions.

Dry skin

Dry skin is a common skin condition, and patients with extremely dry skin may need to seek the help of a dermatologist. Left untreated, dry skin can lead to dermatitis or inflammation of the skin.

Eczema

Eczema is a non-contagious group of skin conditions that are characterized by itchy, inflamed, red patches on the skin. Eczema patches can occur anywhere on the skin. Eczema patches tend to flare up, then disappear, then come back again.
